Katie Trautz and Julia Wayne started singing together as teenagers in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. Their sweet harmony vocals and folk instrumentals express a deep connection to traditional New England and Southern Appalachian music. They add to the tradition with contemporary arrangements and compositions. Mayfly has performed across New England and Quebec.
