Bluegrass fiddling is an exciting combination of melody, rhythm and improvisation that blends blues, swing, old-time, country and mountain music. In this class we will listen to greats such as Kenny Baker, Curly Ray Cline, Michael Cleveland and many more. We will learn the scales and positional playing required to emulate these greats. Doublestops, improvisation, rhythmic backup and bluegrass ensemble etiquette will be emphasized. This class is for intermediate to advanced players.
