Course Description:
Experience the world’s oldest musical instrument, the Didgeridoo. The Didgeridoo or Yidaki as it is properly termed in native Australia dates back at least 40,000 years. This class will focus on the history and playing techniques of the instrument. We will also explore the concept of “circular breathing”. Students are welcome to bring their own instrument to participate. Pitz will also supply “didges” for students to play in class
or purchase from him starting at $45. Come get healthy, learn something culturally significant and have fun all at the same time! Class ideal for beginners to advanced players. All ages welcome, kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
